In Skype for Business, you can add people to your Contacts list so they’ll be just a click away. If you want to add a new phone number to your contacts list, you will have to create a new contact. Skype's latest version on Mac(Skype 8) doesn't allow you to edit a contact's phone number since this information is set up on your contact's end. Enter Skype username of a person you want to add in the search field. Click a button with the picture of a person and a plus sign Add a Contact Not in My Organization Skype.
